Capital Fashion Week - Wrap Up!

W.O.W!!!

3 letters, to define this Game Changing & Epic Moment for Ottawa. The Capital Fashion Week was not only a 2 days full of Fashion Galore but also a great support to a noble cause, the Fight against Cancer!

2 Fashion Events in 1 month - Ottawa is definitely bringing it! The 1st just last week, was the Ottawa Fashion Week at the N.A.C showcasing Canada's most promising upcoming Designers while the Capital Fashion Week hosted at the Conference Center showcased a line up of well-established and upcoming Designers all across Canada.

I am still sorting out all the pictures I have taken at the event (over 600 of them + videos, can you tell I really enjoyed it?) so just bare with me.

The venue was perfect, everything was well organized. The Designers's line up was impressive and the style Au rendez-vous...WOW...Ottawa's got style what can I say, I am convinced of it now.

In the lounge, all guests could admire great Designs by Ottawa's Couture Duo Jefferson Sukhoo, great dresses. At first glance, I thought they were Mannequins but they turned out to be real live models, Impressive! If this was a challenge - Tyra would have been proud -

One of my "coup de coeur" was also the unforgetable Mizdragonfly and her unique, collection of one of a kind accessories, which I am definitely going to get my hands on. They are to die for - no kidding - every piece has something interesting and different to offer.

The CFW brought the word Fashion Week to another level for Ottawa, their V.I.P list included Supermodel Stacey Mckenzie, I mean, if you can get Stacey to come down to Ottawa, you must be doing something right!!!

She has a great energy and everytime she showed up, people gathered around her for pictures, which she always accepted, striking her best pose and occasionally giving some posing tips to the girls - very down to earth !

I've had my share of fun too, here posing with David Dixon himself in the Lounge- his collection closed the show - the dresses were simply Gorgeous.

This one was one of my favourite, I love the cut, colour and fabric and if I can picture Audrey Hepburn wearing this, then it must be right!

So in 2 words for 2 days of flawless Fashion, Major Kudos the most dedicated and organized team, for not only putting the event together but for getting it Right the very first time, Well DONE!!!

I will add all the pics from the "Lounge Lovelies" to the Runway Collections throughout the week, because these magic moments are worth sharing with all of you.
