OFW II - Best Picks

With a little more Oomph, the OFW would have gone from Fab to Glam but nonetheless it went well. Most Designers brought their best and although I had my favourites, I didn't exclude those whose work heated the Runway....

Best street style:
-Kania from Ottawa: Comfortable, clean cut, easy to pull off - casual meets sexy and refine. Mainly made of Cotton and Lycra, these pieces are versatile and so appropriate for our ever changing weather; I can’t help but love them.
Really liked: The sexiest black wraparound
Favourite: The chic large pants black overall

Most Fun & Energetic:
-Ashley Zaba from Toronto: Great mix of swimsuits, shorts, skirts and dresses. I really liked the St-Tropez feel of the collection, made me want to book a vacation in a hot place right away. The pieces were not overdone but still interesting, sexy and comfortable, light and colourful.
Really liked: The biker cropped Black leather jacket with snap collar and elastic sleeve cuffs Favourite: The white & blue strapless top with cut-out paired with high waist Bermuda short

Most Glamour & Unique:
- Carmelita Couture from Miami: James Bond and 60's vs. Modern Art inspired, her designs are daring, with lots of prints and colors. Glamour, sexy, fun and original, the collection had too many option to choose from. I can't wait to have her pieces sold here in Ottawa.
Really liked: The black and white curvy cotton stretch romper, with keyhole & bolero
Favourite: The gold tone silk, bi-level strapless dress with tutu under skirt with a wire bust

Most dramatic & theatrical:
- Jana Hanzel from Ottawa: Dramatic, artistic and very feminine always resume her work. The show was a true experience for all the senses, from the music, hair and make-up choice. Her garments are wearable while the handmade headpieces stole the show.
Really liked: Prints blouse paired with navy pants and blue headpiece
Favourite: Sleeveless prints blouse with high waist green pencil skirt

The Pics from the complete collections will be added as slide shows later on.
Accessories will be covered in a different post.
Cheers!
