While temperatures remain below 0 C, I escape to Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks out of necessity, taking a break from my long-drawn-out battle with winter, to catch a glimpse of the Fall 2009 RTW Collections. After all, that’s what Fashion is about…No need to wait for the seasons to end; we can anticipate them and wear them as we please.
For the occasion, I stopped at the Men’s department, where an interesting phenomenon caught my attention…
We are in Milan, and the Runways have literally been snatched up by what I call the Arsène Lupin Effect. A nineteenth-century aristocrat chic mixed to the mysterious adventures in an unpredictable and Fashionable world of Sex, Passion and housebreaking that is Arsène Lupin’s life, with a touch of modernism.
I squirmed with delight upon watching the models coming down the runway, one after the other, walking with confidence, allure and wit, making for a great act!
Men should always dress like this, at least on Friday!!!
I report, you decide…
