FAT is where Fashion, Arts & Music collide.
"This is a multi-arts festival with a mandate of showcasing artistic disciplines rooted in fashion and their exploration of clothing and the body in today's time.
The festival emphasizes this mandate through the showcase of fashion design, photography, installation, video, performance, music and dance, in an effort to push forward and redefine our perception of the fashion phenomenon."
FAT is taking place from April 21 - 24, @ the Distillery District, Fermenting CellarThis multifaceted annual event will showcase 200 of the most innovative Fashion designers, visual artists, musicians, performers and dancers across the country and abroad.
I visited their website and what I saw made me giddy with excitement. This will be a first for me, but I can already foresee the creativity, avant-gardism and forward thinking of the creations to be presented from all artists (Designers, Musicians, Photographers...).
In terms of Fashion and Arts in Canada, this event is definitely a must-attend, I will check it out - as long as time and logistics permit - and will probably become a regular.

ELLE Fashion & Beauty Event is on Saturday, April 25, 2009 (11AM - 5PM)
It was at the event's 1st edition, back in April 2008, among networking opportunities and fortunate encounters that Miss SLY! found the missing link to her long and exciting path. Something that will keep me busy and fulfilled for many years to come.

For the second edition of this annual event, maybe as a "gift" to celebrate my 1 Year instalment in the mad world of Fashion & Medias, I received an invitation to attend both the Fashion & Beauty Event and the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) Gala - benefit/fundraiser dedicated to the "New Labels Competition".
It feels amazing, to reap the benefits of hard work and determination. I'll take it, even in the smallest dose.
