Since coming back from LG Fashion Week, I haven't had the chance to catch up with PRC-2. Thankfully, I got my fix during the Show Finale on that magic Thursday March 19th at the Nathan Phillips Square, hosted by Fashion Icon Iman. Here Iman, preparing for her interview with Jeanne Beker, right after the show. I called her name, she heard me, looked and then smiled, as I captured the moment on my camera. Priceless!
What an honor it was to be there, in the audience, admiring each one of the Designer's garment. Too bad I couldn't take pictures or videos, but I enjoyed it nonetheless, it was what I expected and a bit more. Execution, originality, cohesiveness, just about everything was on point.
- Especially a certain Designer's collection, who shall remain unnamed to not spoil the surprise - so I won't divulge any details, until the Finale airs on Global next Tuesday, April 14th.
Look forward to the finale, I am positive that you will like what you'll see, the risks and innovation the Designers brought to the Finale this time in unprecedent.
In comparison to PRC- season 1, this cast kept the best for last, litterally. The Finalist have outperformed themselves and some household/established Designers seen here at LG Fashion Week.
Watching the Final collections on the runway and snapping paparazzi style shots at Iman was definitely something unique, but one can always ask for more.
So the very next day, I managed to catch up with some of the Designers in attendance, after the Carlie Wong Fashion show - which didn't blow me away as much as last season's btw -
But before hitting back the Runway environment, I met Kim while in the Media lounge, waiting for the Carlie Wong show. She seemed nicer in person, and much more flexible.
I asked her why she was always so vocal on the show, and she responded that "Producers pick what they want to show on TV"it certainly made for drama and entertainment - Blame it on the TV!
Walking through a sea of people, all exiting the Runway environment - in a pretty slow place, and in the same direction - I kept my eyes on the PRC-Designers until I got close enough, to finally introduce them to a dose of Miss SLY!
I caught up with Adejoke who changed her hair style, sporting a longer and slicker look, which looked great on her.
Jessica just as cool as you can imagine, always knows what to do or say to cheer everyone up.
Baylor has a very down to earth personality, always smiling, he won me over.
Sunny for his part was pretty amusing, relaxed and collected - considering the overwhelming attention he got from the public - he kept his cool the whole time.
The show may be coming to an end next week, but Miss SLY! mini adventures are just getting started.
There will be more exclusive interviews and inside information on our beloved Designers coming + (and that is the big one): Drum roll...
Miss SLY! has been invited to attend the ELLE Fashion Show on April on 25th, where the 3 Finalists will showcase their 12 pieces collection along with Bryan Bailey's.
This means more pictures, interviews, Fashion and Fun...
Until then, stay in touch!
